Store Policies

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All products listed on Lady Death Store are in stock and ready to ship, unless otherwise noted as preorder, special order or out-of-stock in the product description. Preorder and special order items usually ship by the date specified on the product page.

Comic books are sold in "near-mint" (NM) condition, unless otherwise stated in the product description. We assert that there are few truly "mint" comics and ones that do fall under that category are rare.

In rare circumstances, we may be unable to fulfill a confirmed order due to data entry errors or unforeseen damage to products in our warehouse. If we cannot fulfill your order, we will contact you promptly to discuss a refund or product substitution.


HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR ORDER

We accept all credit/debit cards bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover logo. We also accept payments through PayPal and PayPal Credit (formerly known as Bill Me Later). Secure servers protect your sensitive financial information throughout the transaction. To pay online:

Under "Choose one payment method" on the checkout page, select the "Check out with PayPal" or "Credit/Debit Card" option. Two payment options will appear:

PayPal and PayPal Credit: Click the "Check Out With PayPal" option. You will then be directed to a secure PayPal page to enter your credentials and complete your transaction. Once your transaction has been completed, you will be redirected to our store and will see a confirmation message.

Credit or Debit Card: Click the "Credit/Debit Card" option. Enter your card number, expiration date and CVC code from your card and then click the red "CHECK OUT" button near the bottom of the page. Please note that your card's billing address must match the billing address specified on your Lady Death Store account. Once your transaction has been completed, you will see a confirmation message. Charges will appear on your statement as "COFFIN COMICS, LLC".

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING ONLINE PAYMENTS: When paying for your order by credit or debit card on the checkout page (and not through PayPal), we will run an authorization on your card for the total purchase amount. We do not bill your card until your order ships. When paying with PayPal however, your account will be billed for the full purchase amount at the time of sale.

Sales Tax Collection (Arizona Residents Only)
We are required to collect 7.95% sales tax from all customers residing in the State of Arizona. Where applicable, sales tax is automatically calculated at the time of the order and will be reflected on your invoice.


SHIPPING POLICY

You will receive a detailed order confirmation via email after your order has been placed and received. Generally speaking, in-stock items take 1-2 business days to process and ship. Preorder and special order items may take longer (estimated shipping dates are usually indicated on the applicable product pages). If we anticipate other delays in your order fulfillment, we will contact you promptly via email.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING ORDERS CONTAINING PREORDER ITEMS: Orders placed that contain both in-stock items and preorder items generally ship once the preorder items are received. In certain scenarios (e.g. preorder releases with 2-month shipping delays such as direct market issues), we will make every effort to ship your in-stock items separately. But generally speaking, if you do not wish to delay the shipment of your in-stock items, we strongly recommend placing separate orders for them.

Shipping charges are based on the total weight of your order. We ship all orders through the US Postal Service (USPS) and offer First-Class and Priority Mail service options. Please note that the availability of certain service options is dependent on the total weight of your order and other factors. For example, domestic First-Class Mail has a weight restriction of 15.99 ounces domestically (or 4 pounds internationally) and would not be available for orders exceeding that shipping weight. Actual transit time to your address is dependent on your location and type of shipping service selected:

First-Class Mail: 2-7 business days (domestic);  2-3 weeks (international)
Priority Mail: 1-3 business days (domestic); 6-10 business days (international)

We pack all orders very carefully and we are very aware that product condition is important to our customers. In the rare event that products in your shipment arrive damaged or defective, please refer to our Customer Service and Return Policy section for more details.

Note to International (Outside the US) Customers
If you live outside the United States, please read the following very carefully:

You are responsible for any duties or taxes imposed at your country's border. Customs fees are very common, especially in the United Kingdom, Canada and Germany. Lady Death Store has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Occasionally, there will be delays at customs that will affect your delivery date, which is also out of our control. For more information, we suggest that you contact your local customs office prior to placing an order with us.

If your foreign country does not appear on the list above, we apologize, but we currently cannot ship to you.


CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURN POLICY

Customer Service
All of our customer service is handled through email and our Contact Form. We check our email and support inquiries Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM Mountain Standard Time (Arizona).

We try our best to respond to all customer service inquiries within 24 business hours. Product questions and special requests may take us a little longer, so we appreciate your patience.

Return Policy
We are proud of our excellent customer service, accurate shipments and on-time shipping record. If you are unhappy with your shipment for any reason, please let us know by email or use our Contact Form. We will do our best to resolve any issues you may have.

While we do not accept returns on non-defective items, we will happily replace any items that are damaged, defective, or do not arrive as advertised. If a replacement for an item is no longer available, we will contact you promptly to discuss either a refund for that item's purchase price or a product substitution.

Damage claims should be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the shipment. Please retain all packing materials (shipping box/envelope, packing filler, etc.). 

To make a claim for a damaged or incorrect shipment, please email us or use our Contact Form, observing the following steps:

1. Reference your order number (format: LDS-#####).

2. Clearly describe the problem with your shipment, noting any omissions or damage to item(s). For damage claims, also describe the condition of the package your order shipped in and attach photos, if possible.

3. We will do our best to respond to your claim within 24 business hours and will provide you with further instructions.

Order Cancellations
We will honor your request to cancel an order if the request is received prior to your order's shipment. But please understand that special order items cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Please send us an email or use our Contact Form, referencing your order number (format: LDS-#####) to request an order cancellation. If your cancellation is approved, we will credit your original payment method for the total purchase amount. Please note that it generally takes 5 business days for your refund to appear on your card statement.

Canceled orders paid for by check or money order will be refunded by check within 7 business days from our company office.


PRIVACY POLICY AND SITE SECURITY

At Lady Death Store, we keep all personal information collected for your order private and confidential. We may, from time to time, notify you of specials or new products that we believe you may be interested in via promotional emails. Outside of that, we will not share your name, your address or any other information with any third parties for any reason!

We are concerned about your online security. Our shopping cart software is fully PCI compliant. Additionally, a 128-bit SSL certificate protects our site and its proprietary databases. All end users (customers) are protected by a $10,000 liability insurance policy in the unlikely event that personal information is compromised. Shop with confidence!
